My name is John A. Murray, II, I was born in New Orleans, LA on December - 22 - 1964 and grew up in the town of Chalmette, LA. I am the eldest of three children and had a good upbringing until the deaths of both of my dear parents before 1983, so I had to stay with reletives until I could afford to live on my own before I was 19 years old.

I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and personal saviour in April of 1985 and that was the real begining of my journey of faith. Through the years I have had many struggles and trials. I fell off the narrow path many times, but in those rough times I had learned to trust in Jesus and allow the Holy Spirit to guide me in the right direction (Proverbs 3: 5 & 6).

I now live, work and attend Church in Spokane, WA.

My faith may seem small, but I will boldly testify to the fact that GOD answers all prayers in his time. God's answer may not be what you may expect, but he is faithful to answer your prayer. He has answered my prayers and if you have doubt, I challenge you to get someplace to yourself and honestly pray and wait to see what will happen.

I am very far from perfect, I am only a sinner saved by the grace of GOD and I know for a fact that I am only special in the eyes of GOD as well as those who are close to me. I had to come to a place in my life that I knew that just being good will not get me into heaven when I draw my last breath. All I had to do is believe on GOD's son Jesus and that was it (That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10: 9 & 10). It was that easy. If the creator of heaven and earth cared enough for me to save me from myself, I know GOD will do it for you if you would only believe.

Here is a simple prayer like the one I had prayed in faith. It goes like this:

Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior.

In Your Name, Amen.

MY STATEMENT OF FAITH

I believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.

I believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

I believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

I believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful people, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.

I believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.

I believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.

I believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
